I was selected to review Secret Outlast deodorant for bzzagent.com. I received a full sized promotional item in exchange for my honest opinions of the product. I was not provided any further compensation for using this product or publishing my thoughts.
I typically use a clinical strength antiperspirant and deodorant so I was a little skeptical of Secret Outlast. For starters, it’s a clear gel and not being clinical strength kind of worried me. I sweat a good deal and I like the extra protection I get from clinical strength formulas.
From the first application of Secret Outlast, I noticed that the gel dried quickly. The scent was feminine (almost like perfume) and seemed to last the entire day in a light weight long sleeved t-shirt. Plus, even when I got warm, I never noticed any wetness from sweating. I was rather impressed. Subsequent uses seemed to prove similar results, even when being outside in the sun (though I hadn’t tested the effectiveness on extremely hot days) and full days cooking and cleaning in my kitchen. I noticed the fragrance of the deodorant stuck around through most of the day, keeping me fresh.
I’d go as far as saying that Secret Outlast is comparable to my clinical strength deodorant, but available at a fraction of the price.
Have you tried Secret Outlast? Were you surprised by the effectiveness of a gel deodorant/antiperspirant?
