I was recently given the opportunity to try out Almighty PHOTO for iPhone and iPod Touch. Immediately, I was impressed with how smoothly the application worked and was easily navigable without the use of a drawn out tutorial. Read on to learn about the app and find out my overall impression of it.
When you first log into Almighty Photo, you’re given a brief tutorial on how it is designed to work. At the first screen following your introduction, it shows a photo and a count. On the bottom bar, the button selections allow for viewing these photos by date, in camera roll style, in blocks of several pictures on one screen, by location, and the last one takes you to slide show options. In slide show options, you’re able to select the speed of play, whether or not it repeats, how photos transition, and if you’ll be playing music.
With this app, you can categorize photo(video) into albums by dates(by day, by month, by year), cameras, lenses, tags. The app will not duplicate the items already on your phone, just helps you to better manage what’s already on your device.
Some of the more fun features of this app include:
*Sharing via Wi-Fi as long as other devices are logged into your wifi
*Photo filters that don’t change your original photo (very cute options that you may find in other photo editing sites).
*Animated GIFs from serial photos
*Meta Data to show how the photo was taken
The app has worked smoothly and flawlessly for me every time. I’m most impressed with how similar some features are to the standard camera roll, so you’re “at home” with the app.
The FULL VERSION is on sale for $0.99 (reg $2.99) until January 13, 2014.
