I have been provided a free top from Momzelle Breastfeeding Apparel in exchange for my review. All opinions expressed here are my own.
We don’t get much, but cooler weather is right around the corner for Florida. I mean, we’re probably going to get our cold weather for Thanksgiving. Then, things will heat back up again for Christmas. Regardless, it’s time for me to start preparing for breastfeeding comfort in the cooler weather. That means I need to up my game on my breastfeeding apparel wardrobe. One of the worst parts of breastfeeding in cold weather is baring your stomach when lifting your shirt. Seriously, what good does a sweater do if you’re lifting it, exposing your stomach to the elements while feeding baby?
So, I’ve teamed up with Momzelle again to review one of the new additions to their line of fabulous breastfeeding apparel. I’d previously reviewed this versatile breastfeeding dress, so I was excited to be working with them again.
Breastfeeding Comfort in the Juliette Top
I chose the Juliette Nursing Top, in green. I love my new addition What you need to know is that I’m an abnormally small woman at about 92 lbs, so even the XS is a bit big on me. Please don’t compare sizing on me as an indication of how to size for yourself, generally.
As I mentioned before, lifting sweaters and exposing my belly to feed the baby in cooler weather isn’t comfortable. What I love about this top is that it has openings on both sides that you can open with one hand. This is perfect for quick access for a very hungry baby. It’s also perfect for nursing on-the-go in a carrier, if you’ve got that mastered. I regularly need to nurse on the go, especially when visiting Disney, so this feature is essential for me.
This nursing top is extremely soft and feels like it’s made of durable fabric. The elastic bottom will help hold your shirt in place.
What I love about this shirt is that it’s fairly lightweight, so it’s great for throwing a sweater or jacket on to better adjust for the weather. I have a tendency to get cold easily, so this will be great for even indoor events when I may usually carry a sweater to keep the chill off my arms.
In my case, I could easily wear this top with my jeggings (as shown), with leggings, or with jeans. If it were more fitted, I could see wearing it with a nice skirt.

Love that top! I am a huge fan of nursing shirts, I lived in them when I was nursing my last baby. Always hated lifting my shirt, so pulling the neckline down was the best bet for me. Great giveaway!
LOL, heat back up again for Christmas! Such a cute top 😀
It’s the truth … Florida is notorious for lacking the understanding that seasonal changes require long-term committment to changes in weather. I don’t love the cold, but I really wish we had more seasonal changes.
I like the Monica dress and the Sara top.
Never used nursing tops. Such a luxury! Nice post, though. Easy and enjoyable to read.
That is a very nice top. Makes it easy on those cold days, instead of wrestling with your sweaters. Good luck to everyone.
ILIKE THE NURSING DRESS MONICA!
I love the color of that top! It looks really comfortable too. I never had any nursing dresses, so I love the ones they have on their site, especially the Monica.
That’s a beautiful top. I was trying to figure out how it opens, the flaps that hang in front?
Yes, so in the front, there are slits in the fabric on both sides… they pull open from the sides.
The Juliette and Amada tops seem really versatile, like they could be made more casual with jeans or worn to work or an evening out to dinner. Love those types of tops. The seamless nursing bras alsp seem soooo comfortable! And it’s all about comfort these days 🙂
One thing I’ve found with soooo many nursing tops is that they don’t tend to be very stylish or attractive at all. This is not the case with this top though! I would LOVE to wear this even if I wasn’t nursing, haha! So, does the front just pull down or is there a flap of some sort? Totally loving the idea of not having to expose my belly while nursing! Thanks for sharing <3

The Sara top!
I love all of those great nursing tops. I wasn’t able to breastfeed our firstborn for very long, so now I’m hoping to breastfeed our second for a full year. He’s almost 3 weeks old now. Fingers crossed!
I want to say I made it to about 7 months with my daughter and finally hung it up for the nutramigen. My son is definitely going to make it a year and I’m probably going to have trouble weaning him LOL. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.
The hoodie, Emiky, Betty, and Juliette look like staples for every nursing moms wardrobe. The Juliette would be great for pumping at work and nursing on the go.
